Sage Motel by Monophonics

I've been guilty of asking, "Why listen to Greta Van Fleet when you can listen to the real deal?" The real deal being Led Zeppelin, of course. That logic can certainly apply here. Monophonics will take you all the way back to some late 60's, early 70's psychedelic soul. You should definitely go listen to some Chambers Brothers, Sly and the Family Stone, and Funkadelic if you haven’t already done so.
Once you're finished with that come on back and check out the latest offering from Monophonics, Sage Motel. Then, listen to pretty much anything on Ohio-based record label, Colemine Records, which specializes in soulful sounds.

Bangers: Warrant (best track on the album, hands down), Love You Better, Broken Boundaries, Sage Motel
